The funeral ceremony of José Manuel Carbajal, El Taiger, began this Saturday, October 19, at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of San Lázaro in Miami.

Images circulated on social media showing the moment the artist's casket arrived at the church where family, friends, and fans of the singer gathered to say a final goodbye.

The remains of the Cuban reggaeton artist arrived under heavy police guard; this week, a member of his team stated that the tribute would be with a closed coffin and police security, but in the distant images, the open casket is observed.

The case of El Taiger, whose death was the result of a gunshot to the head, is still under police investigation.
